You'll get invited to our Meetups as soon as they're scheduled!
GRAND OPENING of MYCCN
A BBQ / brainstorm / drawing-in-on-whiteboards / showing your videos / discussion / computer / acting / hang-out thing... Can I say it any clearer? We are creating an informal, creative atmosphere, focusing on YOUR input and interests and that helps you with concrete projects and collaborations.
FORMAT
The first hour of the meet-ups will be a structured introduction and discussion of interesting topics facing user created content producers. YOU are on the expert panel, so remember to bring your views, experiences and opinions.
After this we'll let people continue the discussions, connect and exchange ideas, while we light up the BBQ and have a beer/soda.
The first meet up will revolve around four main topics:
- How can we make money online? What's your experience with this?
- What's good video content and is that how we get the most hits=money?
- Can we build a network that gives us a head start compared to other videos?
I'll have an open BBQ, WiFi, whiteboards and a couple of boxes of beer and soft drinks to get us started on. You guys bring your own meat and bread and I'll have the amenities.
MYCCN?s PURPOSE
MYCCN is connecting "amateur" content creators, with the purpose of improving Metacafe/Youtube/Myspace video's production and idea quality, to ultimately increase the earnings of the videos.
MYCCN wants to create a network of high quality content, which drives traffic and earnings between members? videos.
The meetings will be open brainstorms and discussions with ideas and feedback, sharing of experiences on what works and what doesn't, and also help people to connect in teams or production crews.
The meetings are also meant as a playground for new ideas and maybe even help with technical equipment. (I hope some of you semi-pros are showing up too :-)
And HEY... I promise you free beers at the first meeting.
Be prepared to be involved.
